This was a very small look to be family ran business. Service with a smile and amazing tasting food. My only disappointment was I didn’t get some tacos to go to eat later. I would recommend this spot to any one wanting some authentic Mexican food.
I was told by my taxi driver, and my customs agent that this was the best place to eat. They were not wrong. If you want authentic mexican food, go here.
Google says this is one of "top rated" restaurants in town, so I decided to patronize as I was in the mood for good, hole-in-the-wall Tex Mex.
Upon entering, we noticed the establishment was full of local families (replete with screaming children) so we took a seat under the television playing las noticias at a comfortable level.
Service was prompt, friendly and patient.
The menu was simple and effective.
The prices vs portions were excellent.
I really enjoyed eating here...
However
It IS rundown per the hole-in-the-wall aesthetic.
Parking is challenging.
Always go there for their food. Always taste great Tortas, flautas, and lonches de ternera . We placed an order for pick up, and everything was there. It was checked twice before handing over the food. Staff were very helpful and friendly and looked that the customers were happy. Being a Laredo, always try to stop by on our visit back to Laredo. They don't have found like this in the RGV. Good job on owner and staff for doing always a good job.
