Best Mexican spot all around in Laredo for my money. From a wide menu selection, to cleanliness of the restaurant, to the food and drink quality. When in Laredo, I would consider it a must go to location.
Went to have dinner this evening, came across some unfortunate events.
First one, so many employees and no one to actually take our orders.
Number 2, lady who was making tortillas had on long fake nails and was not wearing a hair net. And finally , reason number three in why we left, as we reached almost the end of our chips , ( you know the appetizer chips they bring to the table.) There was a chewed piece of gum in the basket!!!!
That was it. We left. Never going to that dirty establishment ever again.
Clean, spacious restaurant, staff was excellent and attentive. We ordered the tlapeño soup and was awesome. Also ordered fajita, sausage, pastor and chicken fajita tacos on flour tortillas, plate comes with three tacos of your choice, rice, charro beans and guacamole. Tacos were good, beans and rice are tasty. My kids got the kids burger which are 2 sliders with fries which they ate meaning they liked them. Will return to tryout other menu items.
Food is spectacular and portion sizes are huge. Inviting, relaxing atmosphere with great service. Highly recommend the sirloin alambres and the t-bone ranchera.
They can make good drinks too and that's not always a given depending on where you go.

6 months agoMariachis are TOO LOUD. I enjoy mariachis, but they need their own stage or corner. Too loud to enjoy a dinner. Food is good, service is great.
