I ordered once online and once inside. The nachos I posted picture of represent quality of all orders. . Online I ordered brownie sundae and apple crisp with no caramel. The brownie sundae was okay and served in multiple containers so ice cream didn't melt. The apple crisp was barely an order thrown in bottom of tray maybe 5 pieces of apple and no crisp topping what so ever. The ice cream was also in separate container with caramel. When asked to make it correctly the server said it was done by portion and the order didn't say no caramel. ( had to correct them with a screenshot of order. ) it was thrown away and refunded because I hate being lied to. Since I have ordered this in 100s of dennys across the country.
The nachos are basically soup as seen in image posted. Here is simple fact of this, as a waiter or waitress who survives off tips why should any one tip a server who chose to bring that to a table instead of having it fixed before serving it. My problem with dennys over all is more than anything they hate their job so most do a piss poor job at it. I will say this the waiter here just lacks experience and probably doesn't know he should tell a cook to correct an order before sending it out or at minimum tell him to make it look edible.. The waiter is very polite and checks on you regularly. The difference in the tip of 2.00 and 20.00 is simply that they did not correct the cook and served food that was piss poor and incorrectly made. I came in and sat down to eat after my online order was made incorrectly just to see if it was a fluke. It is not. The kitchen is simply lazy and the waiter is to polite to tell them to do their job correctly. I'll be here again and next time I will not be polite in what I write. I do not expect much of dennys or chain diners at all. I do expect a place like texas to serve half ass nachos that is not a bowl of liquid at minimum.
Clara was our server and she was extremely helpful. She got our order right and went beyond to make our visit better. The food was very good and well made.
I went to this location for dinner today and had a great experience. Umberto was fabulous - very attentive. He was helpful in describing dishes and guiding my decision-making. I decided on Chicken Fried Chicken. The chicken was a bit darker in color than I'd have liked, but it was still delicious. Daisy also popped over to see if I needed anything else. Even after I completed my meal, I stayed on watching videos on my phone. The staff made me feel welcome by encouraging me to stay as long as I wished. An all around good experience. Thank you! Everything was great the food was great and came out right on time, the waitress was very nice and made sure I didn’t want anything and just sitting here watching them all work together was really nice to see
