Don't order online from here. I've been ordering from here for years without issue, until now. Today, I ordered Monterey rolls (which are $8.99 & come with rice & a crab salad) & was overcharged & didn't receive the combos. When I called to find out what happened, the lady on the phone said it was an issue with an update on the app. I asked if there was a way to get what was missing and she passed me to some other man that said I would have to order everything again. I told him I couldn't afford to order the food again. I asked if I could take the food back so I can get the missing food & he said no. He said there was nothing he could do for me. This is horrible customer service. I was way overcharged & didn't get what was supposed to be included (the menu they put with my order even shows that it's $8.99 & that it's the roll with rice & salad) & the man (supposed manager, I believe) wouldn't help me out even though it was an issue with the app. Ended up paying close to $60 for something that should have been under $40. Horrible customer service.
Great food and amazing portions. The lunch specials are a must. The servers are quick and attentive. Even during lunch rush, you are easily in and out. Good job, guys
Ordered on Uber eats, food was hot and fresh but I had a couple issues. I ordered 2 veggie rolls and neither roll came with wasabi, fresh ginger, or soy sauce. I’ve never had sushi that didn’t have that on the side. My order did include 6 sauce containers that I did not try because there was no label, description or anything. I also ordered the spicy edamame and didn’t realize it would be in some type of spicy sauce as opposed to just a seasoning. I called the restaurant to make sure it was a vegan sauce, and though he said it was I chose not to finish eating it bc I still wasn’t sure. Overall, food was fresh, but better descriptions need to be added online and also please add ginger, wasabi and soy sauce on the side of the sushi. Especially with a veggie sushi roll, for full flavor those sides really make a difference.
Hands down. Best sushi place in Laredo. The place is not so fancy as others I've been to, but the sushi itself is outstanding. Well served, not expensive, quick service. The edamames are great as well as the gyozas so I highly recommend these for starting, then we ordered a couple of sushis, Makushi and Leos (breaded), and both were amazingly good. There are also a few vegan/vegetarian options which is really appreciated.
